I came across this 1967 penny today. I'm thinking this is Machine Doubling and not the double die variety that appears in the Charlton Catalogue. Could someone please confirm this? Thank you in advance.

Yes, it looks to me like MD, but maybe some Die Deterioration Doubling as well, from the dies not being aligned properly and that section of the coin is taking the brunt of the force from the press. Here's a reminder:
