I added this $1 nickel to an existing order for 50¢ shipping. The letters, rims, and devices seemed reasonably intact. It looked pretty solid compared to other Buffalo nickels priced for a buck and a half.

VF30. Quite a few planchet issues, including two separate lamination cracks.

Where are the lamination cracks?

If it's the dark squiggly lines around the rim in various places, I think those might be threads from the black felt backing of the photo box.

That might be it. Looked like lamination cracks esp. on the reverse at the tail and head but if it's just felt, nevermind that.
