Hi there & welcome. That is a 1883 "No Cents" nickel, first year of the Liberty type. Later that year they added the word cents to avoid confusion, folks would add gold plating which made people think it was dollars instead of cents. It's hard to tell the condition from that picture, and I don't see what you mean by line in the hair, but here's a rough guide to its value, assuming no problems that would show up under closer inspection. You can click through these to find the best match for condition.

The line in the hair is a gouge/scratch, aka PMD. Not sure if it's enough to warrant a "details" grade. Large numbers of these were saved as a new issue, and then more so because there was a rumor that the coins would be recalled due to the missing denomination. Some of them were being plated to pass off as $5 gold coins, called racketeer nickels. The scratch will detract from the value.

I just was looking how to go about it...bring it to coin shop and not be ripped off or send it to get graded? Is it 5 dollars or is couple hundred I know nothing about coins and don't know where to begin.

It's a circulated coin worth less than $20 retail. You won't get much for it.
