Hello all! I recently purchased kind of a neat piece of Exonumia. It's a 1900-O/CC Morgan silver dollar encased in Lucite (presumably in 1964 by someone named Bob and/or Brum). I believe that it is a VAM-8C O/O/CC Centered, Shifted left rust Spots, Near Date, Clashed Obv. n,st., Polished Rev.

Sorry, I had to catch my breath there. Anyway, it appears to have the Obverse die clashes of the 8B, but with an over-polished Reverse - The cap vee clashes inside the right bough are missing, and only a faint trace of profile clash remains inside the left bough. The coin itself has been polished as well, which seems pretty common for coins encased in Lucite, but I wouldn't think that could remove the Reverse clashes the same way as an over-polished die. Here are some pictures of the coin in question:

I tried to include most of the pick ups for VAM-8C, but if anyone would like a close-up of a particular area, please let me know. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all!

Yeah, it looks like a VAM 8C O/CC variety to me with the clash marks helping attribute it
