I found this today with the imprint of part of the reverse stamped on the front. Was considering putting on ebay Auction. Curious about something mm e expert opinions.

Strong die clash? This is a Lincoln Penny, not a Franklin penny, though the two men do look somewhat alike.

Franklin was never on a penny - he was on the half dollar 60 years ago.
This Lincoln Cent that needs a good acetone soaking to clean it up a bit.

Yes, suggest a long soak in 100% acetone--will likely eliminate or reduce what appears to be gunk.

It looks like "gunk" on the coin, and another Lincoln Cent was at one time stuck to it.

yes it has heavy corrosion. I Wii soak in Acetone and then try to get better pictures. Was using my iphone
