Hello, colleagues. I would like to know your thoughts on the following stater. Is it a lifetime issue or a posthumous coinage? Is it an okay piece?

Head of Athena right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet pushed back on head, bowl decorated with a coiled serpent / AΛEΞANΔPOY, Nike standing left, holding wreath and stylis; in left field, conjoined foreparts of two horses; below left wing, monogram.

extremely fine

Price 1358.

I see its previous sale listing here:

Not my area, but it looks okay to me. Apparently these are lifetime issues. Beautiful coin. Perhaps some evidence of obverse die rust?

Do you have concerns about the coin, Paulo?

Hello, Kamnaskires.
I am deeply grateful for the prompt and insightful response.
I have no concerns.
My main question was whether it was a lifetime issue.
Thank you very much for your information and help.

Looks OK on my 24 inch monitor screen to me as well.

Nevertheless, high quality fakes in high purity recycled gold exist.
Weight OK.
I also agree with the need to question those little surface lumps on the obverse (but none on the reverse), with regard to die rust, or something else?

Auction record will help with authenticity, (provenance), perhaps a search with earlier sales records may also help.

Do your price research first, for similar coins, which may? lead to a purchase of another coin.
