why are the letters sliding on this coin/

I see Split Plating on the reverse. The ear looks normal. https://www.error-ref.com/split-plating/

Don't send it in for grading. Save your money. It's only worth face value.

Agree, split plating on the reverse. Not immediately seeing an ear issue. In my opinion, not a good candidate for submission to a third party grading service.

yep split plating on the reverse. but cannot see anything out of the ordinary on the ear with the provided images.. Not worth grading of this ordinary cent.

I agree about the reverse.

Your closeup of the ear is a little too dark and out of focus but it's looking like a hit to the earlobe or maybe a plating blister.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
