Hoping to identify this.

A friend of mine travels from NC to Jordan once a year and found this in a cave, along with some Roman jewelry on one of his "treasure hunting" trips. Any info on the specifics? I have checked several forums, Google Image, and FB groups with no exact luck. Finn235 seems to have similar coins.....Thank you!

Definitely imitative - the crude bust and reverse legend of "IVIIII..." or something along those lines is typical for barbarous imitations.

Likely copying small LRB's of Theodosius, Arcadius, Honorius, et al.
(cf. coins with CONCORDIA AVGGG / cross reverses for one possible reverse type example)
