Came across this one this morning. Not sure what it might be or if its US or an international coin. Blank planchet Any insight is welcomed. weight = 23gm width = 1.5 inch height = 2cm

Thanks fine. I just laid this planchet on top of a 1976 bicentennial Ike dollar and it's definitely thicker and a tad larger in circumferences. This pls get also has a flat edge. Thanks again

Where did you find it? It certainly has a sharp and defined rim for being a planchet - maybe it is Foreign like you stated.

Was in a bag with some random US coins but not with any foreign coins. A handful of half dollars and quarters, actually.

Maybe it was a copper medal that has been milled down (?).

May have figured it out. Some kind of Unstamped token. (?) Here is a Wells Fargo token.......39mm (1.5")

Not a planchet, but a struck blank. The square rims would not be formed by an upsetting mill, but struck by dies. Rim fins are also visible to confirm the disk is struck. What it really is... is anyone's guess.
