Hello all, I found this coin roll searing a mixed roll from the bank. It appears to be missing a chip in the pictures but it isn't. It is raised. There is also some extra metal on the edge of the coin. The REV is not effected. My research led me to thinking that this is a Cud. Is that correct?

CMan120, it looks like dried glue on your coin. Try soaking it in pure acetone for an hour to see if it is removed.

Hondo boguss, I have to pick some up I don't have any on hand.. I will give it a shot when I do.
John1, I will sorry about that..holding it in my hand looks alot different then it does in the pictures, it's hard to translate the details. I'll hang on to it and send it in with my next lot. I'm just getting into error coins so all of the insight is veryuch appreciated. Hopefully it turns up to be something cool and not just PMD. Thanks guys!

to the CCF Save your money. Put it aside for a few months. You said you just started in errors. After a couple of months learning come back to it. I guaranteed you will see it as what it is, just PMD. If not, then you can send it in. One more thing, the reverse is effected. Look at the area around 4:00.

Too bad it wasn't an error, CMan120. But keep searching - you won't find them if you don't look.
