Hello, I believe I found some of the same coin and I was wondering if this picture would be helpful at all or if somebody could tell me if it was considered an error the forum was not too clear if it is an actual error, coin or not.

to the CCF, Emccartney1988! We'll need much a sharper picture of your coin to evaluate it. When you have one, please start a new topic so that more people see it.

Not a S over D which is called an over mint mark OMM,they stopped in 1955.
It is a S mint mark but looks a bit odd. Reverse photo please. Also, please work on your photos, the better the pics you post the better we can help you.

Likely some damage to the mint mark location. Clear, in-focus photos would help a lot.

I have asked the mods to move your coin to its own topic for better visibility and more replies.
I'll wait for more (better) images.
