I see it as a split grade. VF-30 reverse and XF-40 obverse. Net grade at VF-35.

Agree this is closer to 40. Obverse may cause a details grade depending on how bad those marks are in the left field under the arm (if they are graffiti/chops or just incident contacts)

didnt catch the marks under the arm. they could very well details the coin but as paralyse said they could be incidental contact
