I see what you are seeing but have an issue with trying to attribute a doubled eyelid when there is so much damage and circulation to a coin. The only way you can ever prove one like this is a doubled die is to find another and matching marker for both. It could easily be misplaced metal, which is my guess, seeing as you can tell it looks like fresh metal. Just my opinion though.
