Much to my surprise, the U.S. Mint has posted my 2009 proof sets as shipped: 4/13/09! I signed up for the "Subscription Service" last week and 2008 sets are no longer available so these are the '09s! I'll post some pics when they arrive! They should be here by Saturday because the U.S. Mint doesn't make mistakes you know! This is a cut and paste from the "Track Order" page: Shipping Method:

2008 silver set is still available. I dont know what you can expect from the clad... its not due out until this summer! It will be cool if you do get it though let us know  Edited by daviscfad

I think the mint's order/tracking page is on the fritz again. The mint said that they will send you an email notifying you how much the new sets will be. So you would've received an email with the new price, and confirmation that you still want the qty/sets. And plus, I'm betting they haven't charged your card for the sets either. Unless they're giving them out for free nowadays ;)

You are correct. I checked that first thing and there's no charge on my CC showing up. Not another mint error!  |

Thank-you for posting this information, I too have been on the subscription lists and received NO WORD from the mint so I did re-order through the subscriptions site page, Thanks again, Mike.. PS:Please let us know if and when you receive your orders.......

I'm on the subcription order program as well. And I have Uncirc., Proof, and Silver Proof subscriptions !.....no word on mine yet either !.... Might yours just be the 6 Territory Qtr. Silver Proof Set and/or Proof Set ?....those are both for sale now and I already have the Proof Set and have been waiting to combine the Silver Proof Qtr. Set with other orders. But both are certainly for sale right now. Perhaps you've confused the Qtr. Proofs and Silver Proof Sets with the regular 2009 all coins Sets for the year which haven't come out yet. Dunno......if not.....that's very confusing !...  Edited by eaglefoot

I called the Mint today and they have not shipped!  The website is wrong and the CS told me "shipped" means my order is on file! Guess I'll be waiting a few months like everybody else.  |

Quality of the labor force is an increasing disease in MANY facets of the country..... the U.S. Mint is certainly no exception. In fact, some might say, that this problem may BEGIN with govt. jobs !.......We'd ALL like good high salaries with wonderful benefits.....but the "consumer" should benefit with QUALITY as a result.....and "affordable" quality would be nice too !.....
