2015 P Washington quarter. Pink toned. Missing layer? I try to search before I ask but I'm not really finding anything. I could barely make out the mint mark but this odd hue and all around hue is raising questions for me. Environmental issues probably but I wanted to get a few other opinions.

@jal, color of a coin's surface is rarely going to help in determining that something is a mint error. This looks like a mechanically-damaged coin to me.
