Pulled from a box. Worn, but the 1 & 7 in the date, and W in "we" seem pretty unmistakable. Thoughts? Estimates on grade?

Sure does look good - also notice the "W" in "WE".

Do you want this thread moved to the grading section?

@John1, I don't know? Figured there would be more feedback as to whether this is indeed the aforementioned variety type. That was the main ask. Maybe I should have said "Is this what I think it is?" and left it at that, lol.

a very well worn quarter, But I do see split serifs on the 7 for sure.. (but don't ask me to grade it - I'm terrible at it) I go by "Desirable or Undesirable" when placing a coin into my collection.) Thanks PaddyB for that distinction)

Yeah, I don't really care about grade either. Through it in as an ask since cherry pickers' has this variety listed as extremely rare and thought it might be helpful....but mostly posted to see if others thought this could be it. Don't know how the 7 and 1 would look as they do otherwise (ie does not appear to be DDD or MD).

No doubt FS-101, very nice find!

Many of the 60s-70s clad quarter varieties (at least those not found in mint sets) are exceptionally rare due to low survivorship, at least relative to most modern coins.

Can't give an accurate grade without a pic of the reverse, but this would probably be in the area of XF45.

@Tanman2001, thanks.

Nothing remarkable from the reverse that would detract from the grade. Wear is consistent with the front so figured a just pic of the front was good enough for a rough ballpark. My guess was XF40-45ish.
