Metal Detecting find this AM. Not 100% on small date but sure looks like it. Have a bead of VC on it now for the next 15 or so minutes. Then will pop in Acetone if it is small date. Am I seeing things on being a Small?

Weighs in at 3.2 - there is some ground crud but not all that much, reverse has none. Will update.

This is a large date coin. The shape of the 2 and the small gap to the rim

Now can you please post up a full coin image without that glass or whatever it isthat is over the coin?
Why is most of the coin white and just the date/MM area copper looking?
Or is that a drop of liquid on it?

Actually, I tried to read the whole thing, but on my cell, which did not show the entire post all together, I guess I missed some of it, my bad. I hope when I get my eyes fixed I'll do better.
