Based on KM & Y21.2 and Y 21.1a descriptions about having or not having reverse arabesque dots, I have settled these coins by one catalog or another.
But four puzzle me in that I'm not sure what is upwards or backwards
All coins have obverse dots, some have reverse arabesque dots and some do not. A couple seem to not fit the criteria. The challenge is to determine if the lion is looking upwards or backwards. Some images are clear and some are not so clear as to direction. Please advise if you think the lions are looking upwards or backwards by pic number. Krause states Y21.2 has the lion looking upward and has dots in the reverse arabesques. Y21.1a has the lion looking backwards but no dots in the reverse arabesques.
Coins 3 7 8 9 10 and 11 have the reverse dots while coins 1 2 4 5 and 6 do not.
You can end up being confused because coins 3 7 10 and 11 don't fit the catalog description. Closer study may settle 3 and 7 but coins 10 and 11 remain contrary because if the lion is looking backwards, those two should not have the reverse arabesque dots.

I posted a poor way to get to my bottom line so I'll spell it out.
Too much photo content hindered by the file size limit.
I have 11 coins that should be Y21.2 or Y21.1a
Some lions are clearly looking up as in Y21.2, some clearly looking back as in Y21.1 while some are hard for me to guess.
Some clearly have dots in the reverse arabesques and some do not.
Maybe I should just go with or without dots to determine catalog number and not worry about which direction the lion is looking?
7 of these are not difficult, but 4 had me confused.
If I focus on reverse arabesque dots being there or not, and stop micro-analyzing the lion my confusion would be gone.
Can we agree?
