Good morning, I have just bought this lovely coin. Here are seller's pictures. It is slabbed XF - cleaned by NGC. Do you agree on grading? Thank you for your opinions.

Really a nice coin. I agree with the grade at XF45. Not the original color (hence cleaned designator) but it's still a lovely example and to me the eye appeal is just fine!

I think NGC called it correctly, and agree it's a most attractive example nonetheless.

It is solid for the grade, might even be close to AU. But definitely cleaned.

I was thinking AU details- cleaned. Most attractive. Congrats!

i think that NGC got it right. XF45 details (cleaned). I like it regardless

Thank you everybody. The coin is cleaned, I agree. My guess is NGC was very strict with that XF.. I have a small question, though: on cleaned coins does NGC apply Sheldon scale without numbers? I mean, can a "VF 35 - cleaned" exist or NGC would call that coin only VF - cleand? Thank you

I would think the damage across the bridge of the nose and under the eye held it to XF. Lovely coin nonetheless.
