Hi,

Do you all buy slip covers for all of your albums and do you put dessicant in with them?

I'm liking Dansco albums and buy the slip covers. Are there preferred albums and sheets for holding 2x2s?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Bosstone, I store the majority of my coins in 2X2s and flips in heavy-duty D-ring binders. My preferred pages are made by Cowens. I accidentally bought an off-brand recently and was sorely disappointed.

By far, I store my individual coins in the Dansco albums - I use a slipcase for every one of my albums. So Far I have had no issues. I don't use any desiccant with them. When they get full, they can over load and if the conditions are right start to put the moisture back into the album. So if you use them, check them very regularly.
I have never needed them as I live in the American SW desert, and it is very dry 90% of the year, so my experience with them is limited.

As for the pages, Dansco states that the materials used are designed as to NOT leach chemicals into the coins you put in them.

I have been using Dansco albums for — {checks calendar} — Over 39 years now. No complaints.
