I enjoy Mexican coins as well. One of my favorite modern Mexican coins are the onzas that have images of how the eagle and snake design used to look:

There's a lot of great looking silver Mexican coins and each show I go to I intend to buy at least one. Really nice one, Snowman!

ikandiggit- Great looking coins! Those pesos from the 1930s-1945 really are great looking and certainly under appreciated. Zohar444- Thanks for the complement.

There are so many beautiful large silver mexican coins, where do you start. I personally like the 1948 Cuauhtemoc 5 peso, the 1950 Ferrocarril 5 peso and the Caballito Pesos from 1910-1914

I had all but forgotten about the Ferrocarril....I'm going to have to keep an eye out for that one...thankfully I'm able to get most of my silver Pesos for just above melt!! Just picked up 17 from the 20's the other day, one was VERY low circulation!
