hi just wondering if anyone could tell me anything about this coin? ive tried searching google and err-ref and maybe I'm just really bad at looking this stuff up, but I can't seem to find any info about this particular year missing the FG. all ive come up with is that no FG is no longer considered an error. any one know if thats true? thanks in advance.

I see most of both letters in your last image. It seems like they've just been degraded by heavy corrosion. If so, it wouldn't get any "no FG" designation, if there is one.

I don't think it's a die polishing issue. The ragged metal crack below the FG makes it look like the copper flaked off there, taking part of the lettering with it.

No obvious corrosion on the coin at all. Its actually been very well kept. The dark colored dots are a purple and blue toning the camera makes look black. I noticed the ragged break and was wondering if it might be a lamination issue. Appreciate the comments!
