Nice die chip. Just a FYI,die chips are not errors,it is just part of the minting process...dies wear out.

Yes, they are from the same die. I think there is only one 54-S RIT die, at least with anything like this size of chip.

I think the 'BIE' variety moniker is used because most error collectors understand that it means a die chip between any of the letters of LIBERTY. Some numismatic types might not understand the other terms like 'RIT' or 'LII'. It works as a catch all for this type of die chip.
