Excellent example of a die chip.. Sadly, it's not a Cud. By numismatic definition, Cuds are directly associated with rims. |

It looks as if Lincoln didn't have anywhere to put his wad of gum when he sat for this portrait, so he just stuck it on the T of LIBERTY.
That's a huge BIE variety coin.
