I don't think that is a Cud - for something that large, I would expect to see some weakness on the reverse.
Plus Cuds will rise up above the rim while this is below it. I think it is a stain.

Yes, looks to be some type of dried substance as it looks to have a couple of bubbles in it.

Cuds are raised. Easy to tell from the extra metal. If it has bubbles, might be glue that acetone can help to dissolve or dislocate.

FYI, John and Mary after 48 hours soaking in acetone there is no difference, still in original state.

If it is an epoxy, I do not think acetone will remove it.
Not sure if weighing it would help or not.

It does have an interesting look to it but it is completely separate from the rim.

There seems to be some type of thin raised metal near the top of the 6.
Maybe this area shows a die crack.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
