Hi just started collecting awhile go so I'm alittle new to these error coins so I'm not to sure on this one and I can't find any exact info anywhere on it 1968 d penny I think it is some sort of DDO but not sure

If you can get another cent and take picture of both on the ends, that would be very helpful and interesting to see.

Ok here is more pics to me it almost looks like it had been struck with another coin on top or something a dime fits perfect over it but I am far from a pro at this

Yeah I looked at alot closer and it has ridges almost like from a dime on inside

Just damage - could be from a Coin Wrapping Machine.

I agree with coin wrapping or other similar damage. You can see that metal was scraped and moved.
