New to coin collecting and no luck researching online so hopefully you all can educate me. Not sure if the marks on the reverse side are damage or minting errors. Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated

to the CCF, Idontkara! Your coin looks like it spent some time in a parking lot. Just damaged, not a mint error.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

It's had a rough life for sure! Lol. I can't get a quality picture that's within the size limits but it does appear to have a leaf type shape through the one and a faint s below the d in united.

Thank you for your feedback.

And with the above, parking lot damage, and we also have a funny term called paridolia which is seeing things not really there.
One website among others that we like to point people to is error-ref.com which showcases genuine mint errors, and perusing this CCF forum for similar examples also helps greatly. Your pictures aren't all that bad so you are off to a good start there.

Very damaged reverse - strang though that the obverse is virtually untouched.

To CCF! Just a badly damaged cent. PMD. Not an error. It's a spender.
