This coin was kept in a specimen set case with blue velvet lining until I bought the lot on ebay 2015/16.

Did you notice the crack in the rim above the queen. Not so proof.

Beautiful toning, TerryT! In addition to the crack, I see there was a misaligned die. Is that common on proof coins?

Great looking cent!

No specimen (proof) coins were minted in 1957, so it must be a proof-like.

Very nice coin, but I do agree with johnnysprawl it is a PL-proof like so PL-66 I think it has too many little marks to make 67
