Can any one help me find out about these four coins? They are gold. They do not have the gold purity on them. But they truly are gold. SOLID! The biggest ones are 39x3mm. The two smaller ones are
35x3mm. I do not have anything to weight them. At that size they should be a few ounces, correct? All I can tell you is that they are really heavy. Thanks for the help! I need to clean my scanner glass?

I seriously doubt that a coin that says "Good for $1 in Trade" is a solid gold piece.

They are either gold colored or possible plated.

I would tend to agree with GO here. If you want to know for sure though, weigh them If there is significant gold content the results will be obvious.

The Alaska trade token was released to celebrate statehood in 1959 and I have one of them. That one is actually plated with Alaska gold, I have an original envelope with the info so I will have to try and find that. The others may be gold plated as well but definitely not solid gold or even a refinable amount.

Yes I do agree with you. Mine are heavy coins. I have done the gold test. It tastes like Gold)) But I did not bite them.

In Canada, those community issued "good for" tokens are referred to as Trade dollars. Not certain what you guys refer to them down there
