I found this on an auction site and it doesn't mention anything about plating but it looks off to me for it not to be plated. Opinions would be appreciated.

Thank you. Turns out there's 2 more plated pennies and 2 plated nickels - 1 a 1945 S that was actually in good shape. A couple of coins that may have errors but were cleaned. No one is touching most of them.

My guess is heavily polished. Easier to do than plating and in my opinion more likely.
