Hello. Can you please tell me of there is a die chip on E and A, or is it just Die Deterioration?

Svant, You need to filter your light and better focus. I am thinking a plating issue not die chips. John1

Alright, you've convinced me to invest into coin microscope. I don't think I can take better photos without one.

Oh, while we're still on the subject, I just don't want to make a separate post just for this small thing. Why is this doubling so weird? And yes, photo is also not so great, I'll work on that.

on the first coin - could be a chip - or just a plating bubble - need better images as for the second coin - what is it? what year? what mint? as you know only one coin per topic is the general rule to avoid confusion.

My apologies, I just thought it's the same type of error so it would be ok. I won't do it again. But yes, it's a Utah quarter.

@john1 thanks for the link, of course, but nothing there answers my question about this type of doubling specifically. Also, to be honest, bright blue background with tiny thumbnails and black lettering? That's some seriously seizure inducing site. Mad flashback to early 90s of internet infancy. I think I'll stick with error-ref.com for reference. But I appreciate the help.
