I am in the process of taking down an old general store. First I found a bank bag of Lincolns 1969-1975. The bag was half full. Now I have found a full bank bag of Lincolns 1969-1975. Store closed down in early 80's. Any clue on the limited yrs? Thanks

How many Lincolns were in the half bag? How about posting pictures of the bags so we can see what you're talking about.

For the most part yes. Me and the wife have looked in each bag for any thing other than those dates. She found 1 1940 wheat.

Thank you. I am in Ga we see some s but for the most part I guess they stay more west. I saw a post about 72 p D.D and started pulling 72's now after a bag down not 1 72 p. I am missing something somewhere. I am intrigued by coins and how they have value due to accessibility or lack of. But sometimes I think that rabbit hole is too deep for me. Lol

Ok I can take a a picture of the bags and take picture of the Lincolns but we took the coins out the bags they were dirty and dusty just old. The store closed down in the early 80'S. The first bag was found under a cigarette and snuff stand on the floor in a pile of stuff That looters had not cared to look in. The second bag was found in a box full of old invoices and checks that had been wrote to the store. Even it was nasty. So when the previous gentleman asked about details I actually responded with true statements not remembering the name of bank I said my own. I am taking pictures of bags. Easy enough, how do you want pictures of the coins? Laid out on my bed or the containers my wife put them in?

Hello , I have been looking through the Lincolns. No luck yet. I am going to get a new magnifying glass next trip to town. Can any one tell me a few of the most likely errors I could find. 1969-1975. I have found a lot of great looking coins.

With a low probability of S-mints. the odds are very long that you'll find much worth keeping.
