Found this 1963 P LMC in a bank roll of pennies two week's ago. Nice looking and I thought it could be at least a AU. Fields look nice a couple of hits on the obverse and wear to the bottom steps on reverse, but overall a nice coin out of circulation as all my coins come from bank rolls. Let me know your thoughts and regards.

Wow! Pretty nice for a roll find. Looks like some wear on Lincoln's facial highpoints - AU?

EDIT: Forgot to add picture....

a couple notes on these early 60's cents. the bottom steps are die issues as well as what looks like scuffing under the steps. some of what you are seeing it from circulation though. looks like some scratches on the lapel and shoulder. minor marks on the shoulder can also be die related. a couple nicks on the columns as well

i'd say AU58 or MS63BN. more likely AU. the discoloration in the fields kind of leans the coin that way. nice find for a 60 year old coin

Signs of light circulation, AU-58.

Regardless of the grade, it's appears to be an attractive example. I save anything that has good eye appeal. They aren't making anymore of these and the attrition rate is high for memorials. It will be a 100 in another 40 years. Maybe someone will thank you then! :)
