2023 Quarter D Mint Mark Extra Piece Of Metal On The Tip Of Washington's Nose

Endlesslykcb New Member United States 24 Posts	Posted 03/23/2024 4:21 pm This is probably the 3rd or 4th one I found just like this with the extra piece of metal on the tip of Washington's nose has anybody else found any of these? Is this like a cut or a dye break? Is it going to be a variety if that's how you if that's what a variety is I think and if nobody's named it yet can we start calling it like I don't know team Washington or something cuz it looks like he's got a big old pimple on his nose Washington 13 Maybe I'm sure it's already named or something if it is anything but Report this Post to the Staff

This is a ebay stunt that people that don't know the first thing about coins use to sell non errors to the general public. It gives the hobby a black eye. Die chips appear in every year on all coins.
