oddguy Pillar of the Community United States 4135 Posts	Posted 03/24/2024 08:45 am Some one cent pieces in 1982 and all cents there after are made of zinc and copper plating, sometimes debri is caught on one of the layers when struck. Also, you get the layer with bubbles, this is called plating bubbles when the bubbles burst, the coin will start to decay into dust over time. Report this Post to the Staff
