A similar piece was sold in Heritage about 10 years ago for about 150 to 200 bucks then has been on ebay for 1000.00 or more for years with no sale, gives you kind of an idea.

Thanks John. I am leaning that this fragment is a piece of a split planchet that came apart during the planchet punching process. It is so thin. The obverse "pitting" is typical of the marks on a split planchet with incomplete clip that I have. 79, 80 and 81 sure had some issues.
