I'm wondering what the interesting "mermaid tail look " going from the bottom of N and curling up to the T in CENT. ..going on top on the bottom right leg of the N and reappearing behind the N. Cause of this... or am I just seeing things? I've been awake since 3 am...bleary eyed. It also looked like a DD but it isn't listed in variety vista.

Zincolns are notorious for spotting and staining, and that's what this looks like. Also, looks like Machine Doubling, perhaps.

Single squeeze hubs result in minimal doubling when it does happen. Looks like basic MD to me.
