I am unfamiliar with doubling on these quarters, I am leaning towards Machine Doubling but want clarification before moving on. I did not bother with full Obverse and Reverse as I have an issue getting photo's of these shiney things. Please confirm MD. It is the lobe of the ear, thank you.

Does this doubling appear elsewhere on the coin?
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

peanut26 I can't write on this forum the number of times I have gotten Machine Doubling on a coin. I have some 67 Kennedy halves that have extreme doubling on the lettering so much that it looks like every letter is doubled. Everyone place I go it says MD. I think there should be a premium on coins with extreme Machine Doubling. Good luck.

It does look like md, but how does one differentiate between the OP coin and a doubled ear lobe such as this one: http://varietyvista.com/09e%20WQ%20...0quarter.htm

Boy, that looks good to me. There are no known DDOs on these. Wait for more replies.

Thank you everyone, yes I am still not sure so I will wait a bit prior to turfing it in the pile. Appreciate the guidance so very unsure of it when its not copper.

The main thing here is that this 'North Dakota' Washington quarter that depicts Teddy Roosevelt on the reverse does not have any listings for DDO's.

Yu are probably correct - that last image looks like MD.
