Penny nearly missing the date and part iof the word Liberty
Obverse maybe off center
Reverse has lightly minted word America
Sorry about how dirty the reverse is. Rinsing with water didn't help

You may know already but soak the coin in acetone for a few hours, that will help to get it clean. Cool find, it is a very nice coin.

I agree with a minor MAD and a Struck Through Grease. I also would try the 100% pure acetone soak.

It is a nice find! It was in one of the kids "clean up this messy room or I will" boxes. The box was stored in the attic for quite a few years. We were cleaning out the attic, and I was doing a first sort of trash and keep for a second look. Coins were keepers. Just found 16 cents on this occasion. A dime and 6 pennys.
