Your "pennies" where minted in Philidelphia. They did not use a mint mark, back then

I see average circulated common coins. The 1939 Wheat cent is worth ~3 cents while the 1970 cent is worth 1 cent.

Lincoln cents 1909 to present; Blank mint mark is from Philadelphia except in 2017 a P was added.
