Greetings! The "0" in the 1970 days looks like the image of a snake biting its tail.

I like to call it an Ouroboros Penny.

Is this a legit mint error, or mechanical error?

Also, is the "D" Mint Mark an RPM?

EDIT: I was trying to replace the image in another post. and somehow I got mixed up.
The proper image is a back.

I'm new to this forum, and have a severe dry eye condition.
I can't see file names that good right now.
Sorry for my klutziness.

The 0 could have taken a hit. As far as seeing an RPM, I am not seeing it, in that picture.
