Hi, I can't find any information about this coin, is different to the commemorative and replicas you can find. I read about the existence of two bronze patterns pieces, also a
trial piece in copper, so do you think it's possible that this was a silver pattern?

to the CCF

I've never heard of pattern pieces for these issues, but also not an expert on them.

Ask that you provide some info ... diameter directly across opposing flat edges and weight in grams to 0.01 resolution.

Then we can start a discussion on what you may have.

Coinfrog, I mean the 1851 Humbert $50 is an octogonal gold ingot. This one I have is exact the same but silver. Different to the commemoratives.

As someone else pointed out on another site where you also posted this, the feathers are different. I also suspect this to be a contemporary copy.

I have never seen this one before - are you sure it is silver? do a ' tissue test' for us if you are able (outside of the 2x2 if possible)

Wouldn't cost that much for a submission to a TPG.

Cointageous stated my thoughts. It's probably a copy/counterfeit.

Have you had it analyzed with an XRf to see what the metal content is?

Even a metal analysis won't confirm or deny the genuineness of this. Needs a TPG opiniion.
