I like to put this coin up for the coin of the week,It's a Tuvalu "fall of the Berlin Wall" #1.00 silver coin,the date reads November 9Th 1989 and is one of 5000 coins from the Perth Mint.   hope you like regards Harry |

I forgot to mention that this coin represents the 20Th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall,Elsjls yes they are great colors with the peace dove as a contrast and the texture of the wall in the other half also with the Brandenburg Gate on the horizontal stroke of the two,there is a crack in the plastic capsule I've just noticed but it doesn't distract from the great reverse.

Thanks for you comments though I really thought this would attract more people as it's a really neat coin and I think this will escalate in price (the way the Redback coin did) in a few years or sooner. regards Harry Edited for smiley Edited by nuggethill

Not a fan of colourized coins Nuggy , that one is both tasteful and justified,if a coins going to be colourized thats how to do it.

G'Day all and thanks for your comments, Evil_SS they say they will go the same way the redback did also I have 3 with running numbers from 700, thanks Echiznto I like this coin so much I brought three. next week I'll post another colored Perth Mint coin and this one will be "The Greatest Battles In History" coin one of a five coin set regards to all Harry |
