Just proofs though, feel like all my business strike pics are solid. Decided to spend some time monkey with lighting and diffusing the last few days. Could I trouble you fine folk with some opinions and potential guidance for resolving any issues you may see? Here are a few shots of some proof Roosies. Reverses seem good but just can't seem to kill the outer glare from piling up along the rim on Obverse. I swing a metal detector and have a knack for finding dirty old coins. You do have a bit of glare - maybe you can try with the scope lights turned off and just use the overhead ones - see how that comes out.. EDIT to add: Sometimes it is best to have lighting from only one direction to create a slight shadow - this helps to identify raised and incuse devices (and other stuff like dents, chips, and strike throughs easier.) DOCC Pillar of the Community United States 1257 Posts	Posted 04/18/2024 10:13 am Thanks Dearborn. I've tried all kinds of lighting combos to no avail. Everything is on in this pic. The biggest benefit came from wrapping the white packing foam board around the lens. Next step is to try and get some matte black liner on the inside of that foam piece. I'm thinking that may help.
