This is a high-end piece. Looks to have a thread at the obverse center. It retains significant mint luster without signs of cleaning/dipping. There is very little wear. AU53 with a shot at 55.

Obv. weakly struck but I think it makes AU50.

lighting on the new photos may be causing a dull look to the surfaces. if there is some luster still peaking through i'd push my grade to AU53 as I'm not seeing a whole lot of wear here otherwise i'll stay at AU50. if it is dull overall on both sides I can see that someone may have dipped it at some point just past the point where there was any remaining luster
i would acetone this one.

Congrats on the grade! Nice luster on the reverse. Any idea why the overdate is called over a "so-called 8"?
