I'll say VF-20, possibly details (rim isues, ED?).

Thanks Coinfrog for your opinion. I will look for Environmental damage when I receive it. So much for the XF40 grade on the PCI
It's no wonder that PCI sold to DGS (Dominion Grading Service) are both out of business since 2010.

What would you bid for this 1860-O Dime?

Way out of my league, just know it's a very tough coin.

I can't get above VF-20 on this one Obverse doesn't look cleaned to me but there is possible ED. Better photos needed when it arrives.

Very scarce coin, but not extremely expensive in VF. This one appears to have mid-VF detail but may have both an obverse cleaning issue and light corrosion. Perhaps it will look better in-hand. Please post better images when you can.

The price escalates rapidly as you approach mint state, but several straight-graded examples in PCGS VF-20 have sold at auction in the $1500 - $2000 range. Those auctions were all over 5 years ago. Seems like there aren't many opportunities to purchase an 1860-O dime.

After 26 days later, I finally got the coin.
Here is my pics, but the reverse left side shows a shadow that is not on the coin.
I don't see any ED on it.

eye appeal not the best. I think I need to net this one down from my initial VF35 to VF25. looks like quite a few hits on the obv that could not be seen on the original photo. I don't see any ED. looks like a straight coin to me.
