I am a world-coin and NJ coppers guy, but started to dabble with nicer US coins. This is second of a few that I just bought online and will post here for grading opinions.

The surface of this coin is much brighter and reflective in person, but wanted to show the surface imperfections, so toned down the spot light sources on the electro-microscope.

I'm at 63 as well. What's going on next to the eye?

I also think the obverse is a 63. The reverse though looks 64 and if not for the relatively lengthy vertical marks on the right of the eagle...may be even a 65.

Will post eye an appeal photo as if being there in-person, looking at it,,,to show the luster. However, that hides many of the marks.

luster is there but I think there is just a little too much cheek chatter to pull a 64. MS63

Morgans are graded mostly on the obverse. This to me is a MS-63. I don't see this as a 64.

I previously posted three Morgans for grading, and this is one of them.

As promised, photos of the coin(s) showing the luster (or lack of) in daylight as if viewing them in-person (eye-appeal?). I tried my best, but I am not a photo-pro. I used only daylight/sun by the window. It does seem to hide some of the imperfections.

@Moniker mentioned about a possible doubling of the stars or some of the stars. It certainly looks that way, at least from real close up with the electro-microscope.
