I'm also having a difficult time seeing any wear on the coin. I do agree 100% with paralyse i'd rather have a nice AU58 rather than a crappy looking low MS coin any day. the challenge with this series is determining what is wear and what is strike. TPG's can't even get it right and they have the coin in hand, which we dont.

the scratch through the shield could be an issue but for me its a non-issue looking at the coin in total.

just a comment on MS coins. they can have broken luster and still pull an MS grade. I can't tell you how many morgans I've seen where the cheek had the luster missing and the coin graded MS63.

there is only one way to tell for sure what you have and thats to send it in

I would buy this as a 58 but and unc grade would not surprise me. I don't feel like the scratch would detail it.
