halfamind Pillar of the Community United States 1484 Posts	Posted 04/24/2024 5:44 pm It's a details coin due to the damage & scratches. I would not attempt to remove the extra metal, although a jeweler might be able to remove the solder that is holding the post without damaging the gold/copper alloy.
