Hey guys I've noticed many cents have very thin letters on the obverse and very bold reverse. What causes that?

I think that's just part of the design. The reverse seems to be showing Die Deterioration somewhat.

Pretty normal-looking coin.

Does the rim look like that in hand? If so, might check the diameter and edge for anything out of the ordinary. If the image is askew somewhat then that might be throwing me off. Thanks, Doug.

Food for thought.
